What a Beautiful Day!

E-mail Print PDF

Around 3:00 this morning, one heck of a thunderstorm blew through. The Spanish word for thunderstorm is one of the best words ever - tormenta. I think that sums it up pretty well. The wind was relentless and oh, the lighting. Not to mention the copious amounts of water that left us with some mop up to do this morning. What a gift the storm was!

the wind and the rain knocked the humidity back down to tolerable levels. The air is so clear! I think I can see the end of the world from our terrace! Temperatures are also down a bit today. It's only 85 degrees in the house right now. I just took this picture from the upstairs terrace. I thought those of you missing Mazatlan right now might appreciate a picture of home.
