I love all the tacos we get here. They are all different and delicious, but not one of them resembles the kind of taco we are used to, made with seasoned ground beef. Nowhere here will you see the little packets of ready taco mix. I got a real craving the other day, so I made my own taco mix.
Ingredients:
6 tsp. ancho chili powder5 tsp. cumin
5 tsp. paprika
3 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. salt
½ tsp. garlic powder
Preparation:
Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. Store leftovers in an air tight container.
Add ½ cup water and 7 tsp. seasoning mix to 1 pound browned ground beef. Stir well and simmer until water evaporates. Serve.
