Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog

E-mail Print PDF

Joss Whedon, the king of camp, my hero and the most under appreciated man in television, has done it again. If you are not watching Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog, you are really, really missing out. It's vintage superhero camp in three easy-to-digest webisodes, and you can watch for free at drhorrible.com.

You get to see Neil Patrick Harris play a doctor again, except this time the doctor is of the mad scientist variety. Dr. Horrible is a heart-wrenchingly sweet super villain who is just trying to change the world. You also get to see Nathan Fillion – yum – as Captain Hammer, the deliciously dislikable super hero.

It's only free to watch until midnight tonight. If you don't see this post in time, since I have been a woefully bad and busy blogger, who, when I do get a free moment, am evidently spending my time watching campy, comic book style, internet entertainment instead of writing quality posts about Mazatlan, and you probably don't check this site every day anymore, you can download the three episode series from iTunes for a small fee.

This show has everything: a villain, a hero, romance, evil plots, action, wonderflonium – what more could you ask for? Go ahead, watch it, and laugh like you mean it. And, oh, did I mention it is a musical?

    Now you tell us.

I may have to pop over there anyway.

Speaking of, I highly recommend _They Might Be Giants_ podcast. Specifically, "Davy Crocket". It is defiantly good for a giggle.
